Breakfast at hotel, then Osoris professional Egyptology tour guide will accompany you by a private air conditioned car to start your visit to The Pyramids Our adventure in Egypt begins in the shadow of the Great Pyramid of Giza, where stone meets sky as a testament to one of the greatest civilizations on earth. The shear grandness of these structures and monuments is breathtaking and the history amazing. Even if we wanted to we could not build a structure like the Great Pyramid According to common perception they were built, with the begrudging help of great armies of slaves, by the ancient pharaohs of Egypt as tombs for preserving their royal bodies. Pyramids were meant to be monuments to the pharaoh's greatness, filled with great treasures for the afterlife. To construct these massive shrines, the pharaoh's copied the oldest and largest pyramid of all, and Antarctica the Pyramid of Khafre (the sun of Khufu) had a two-tiered base encased in granite. Unfortunately, like many of the great kings of the old kingdom of Egypt, the Pyramids of Menkaura, Khufu, and Kafhre were not finished by the end of each respective king's reign. As an example: in the case of Menkaura, the king died before its construction was completed. The monuments of Giza and the entire Giza Valley stand as a marvelous reminder of the skill executed in the creation of the pyramids, some believe that this pyramids at Giza was built by slaves but this is not true. One hundred thousand people worked on it for three months of each year. This was the time of the Nile's annual flood which made it impossible to farm the land and most of the population was unemployed. He provided good food and clothing for his workers and was kindly remembered in folk tales for many centuries. Then you will see The Sphinx Carved from the bedrock of the Giza plateau, the body of a lion with the head of a king or god, the sphinx has come to symbolize strength and wisdom. And it is Unusual to the form of most Egyptian pyramid structures it stands as a symbol of the strength of the Ancient Necropolis of Giza and as homage to the strength of the King. The Sphinx was originally commissioned by Kaphre and was constructed from bedrock found within the Valley of Giza. Another unique feature of the Sphinx is the presence of paint residue which suggests that at one time the Sphinx was painted , in which case the head piece probably resembled the colorful traditionally worn by the pharaohs of the time. The most notable features of the Sphinx, In between the paws of the Sphinx are a stela, now called the "Dream Stela", which is inscribed with a story. The 18th Dynasty story tells of the time that Thutmosis IV fell asleep under the Sphinx which was covered to the neck in sand. Thutmosis had a dream that the Sphinx spoke to him and promised that if he would free the Sphinx from the sand, Thutmosis would be destined to become king of Egypt. ( option tour:/ you will visit The Solar Boat Museum beside the Great Pyramid of Cheops,) Then drive to visit Memphis & Sakkara the ancient city of Memphis and the necropolis of Sakkara are also not to be missed. At vast Sakkara, you will see the famous Step Pyramid of King Zoser,s Step Pyramid of Saqqara is thought to be the first pyramid ever built in Egypt and the oldest stone building still standing in Egypt. His pyramid was built and designed by the architect Imhotep, before this most tombs were made of sun- dried bricks. And then Your Egyptologist will guide you to some tombs belonging to the nobles of the past. They show the beauty and excellence of Ancient Egyptian art on their walls and give an insight into the daily life of Ancient Egypt. At the site of Memphis, you will see the ancient capital that once stood as a flourishing metropolis during the time of the Pharaohs. After finishing your tour you will be driven to your hotel, overnight in Cairo.

It formulated an important part of the fortification system of Alexandria in the 15th century AD then visit Alexandria Library, the most prominent characteristic of the building is its circular shape. Content in itself and exceeding itself equally it does not act as part of the homogenous skyline along the Corniche; a fact which accentuates the prominent object. To enter the museum is to take a tour through over 7,000 years of Egyptian history, starting from the Archaic Pre Dynastic Period to the Old, Middle and New Kingdoms. The museum houses the world's most important collection of Egyptian antiquities from 2700 BC to the 6th century AD. There are thousands of statues, jewels and artifacts from nearly every period of ancient Egypt. Admire the amazing treasures of the young king, Tutenkhamun, including his famous mask made out of solid gold and in a perfect state of preservation. There are 12 rooms filled with treasures from King Tut's tomb, which was discovered in 1922 virtually untouched, ( option tour:/ to the Mummies Room, a specially-built area dedicated to the mummies of ancient Royal Kings and Queens, including the mummy of Ancient Egypt's greatest Pharaoh, Ramses II.) &Then you will be driven to visit The Citadel of Mohammed Ali from its high vantage point on the Mokattam Hills and was the heart of the city beginning in 1176 for more than 200 years. The Citadel was erected by Salah El Din, the legendary Saladin who conquered the Crusaders in Palestine. This fort was later occupied by Napoleon and the reigning Royal Family. The complex contains other later-built elements and buildings such as palaces and mosques. The last great phase of the Citadel, and its real highlight, is the great Mosque of Mohammed Ali. It was built imitating the Blue Mosque of Istanbul, with two high minar, Then drive to visit The Sultan Hassan Mosque was built between 1356 and 1363 AD, with stones that historians believe were taken from one of the pyramids of Giza. The interior is devoid of decoration to make it easy for worshippers to concentrate on prayers. Hundreds of chains, which once held oil lamps, still hang from the ceiling of each hall. Then drive to visit Khan El-Khalili Area, once known as the Turkish bazaar during the Ottoman period, was built in 1382 by the Emir Djaharks el-Khalili in the heart of the Fatimid City and is reputed to be the largest bazaar in the Middle East. Originally founded as a watering stop for caravanserai in the 12nd century, the bazaar has now grown to vast proportions. Day 05:-

Breakfast on board train, arrive Aswan Osoris steward will meet you for help you then accompany you by private car to Abu Simbel The temple built by Ramses, however, was dedicated to the sun gods Amon-Re and Re-Horakhte. Because of their remote location near the Sudanese border in southern Egypt, Pharaoh Ramses II (1279-13 BCE) had two temples carved out of solid rock at a site on the west bank of the Nile south of Aswan in the land of Nubia and known today as Abu Simbel. Long before Ramses II, Next to this temple there is the so-called Small Temple of Abu Simbel: the Temple of Hathor, dedicated to Hathor (the wife of the Sun God) and to Ramses II 's favorite wife: Queen Nefertari. The most remarkable feature of the site is that the temple is precisely oriented so that twice every year, on 22 February and 22 October, the first rays of the morning sun shine down the entire length of the temple-cave to illuminate the back wall of the innermost shrine and the statues of the four gods seated there. After finishing your tour you will b driven to Aswan, Arrive Aswan you will be driven you will meet Osoris steward will accompany you by private car to your Nile cruise with full board basis start with lunch end with breakfast Embarkation before lunch, Lunch on Board Cruise, then you will see the View of the Elephantine Island by Felucca and you will see the View of the Agha Khan Mausoleum. The first Aswan dam, constructed in 1889, insufficiently held the water, and was raised in 1912, and again in 1933. When the dam threatened to overflow for a third time in 1946, it was decided that a second dam was to be built a few miles upstream. Then you will visit The Temple of Philae as part of our Nile Cruise. The site is one of the most visited in Egypt and rightly so. What we now refer to as The Temple of Philae, is in fact on the Island of Agilika on Lake Nasser. They were moved here when the 2nd Aswan Dam was built and the ruins on the ancient island Philae would otherwise have been flooded by the rising waters. The old island is now completely submerged and no longer visible, but thankfully the temple was saved. Return back to cruise & free time or enjoy your time on board cruise with Arabic dancing and Nuba music .then the Nile cruise sail to Kom Ombo where you will see The Kom Ombo Temple is a dual temple dedicated to Haroeris (an aspect of Horus) and Sobek the crocodile god. Although what remains was built by the Ptolemy’s it is on the site of a temple founded by Amenophis I a thousand years earlier. The two halves of the temple were quite independent and even had its own separate priesthood. The only thing that was shared was the speaking tube which amplified the voices of the priests. This could be accessed from both sides. Then the cruise will sail to Edfu and overnight on cruise.

Day 07:-

Breakfast on board cruise, Cruise professional Egyptologist tour guide will meet you to visit The Temple of Horus in Edfu is very dramatic. It is dedicated to Horus and was built in Greco Roman times. Horus was the god of the sky whose eyes were the sun and the moon. He became equated with the king, and therefore the King was Horus manifest. The temple can give the visitor the emotional experience of visiting an active temple in ancient times because of its size and the existence of the First Pylon which dwarfs those who approach. Unfortunately, today, the visitor approaches the temple from the side, and you should be sure to walk out a good distance in front of the First Pylon to fully enjoy the experience of approaching this building. Then the Nile cruise sail to Esana cross the lock then it sail to Luxor and overnight on cruise.

Day 08:-

Then visit Temple of Deir el Bahri is located on the west bank of the Nile River. There it sits greeting spectators as they enter the Valley of the Kings. The site is comprised of three temples, the Mortuary Temple of Mentuhotep, the Mor tuary Temple of Hatshepsut II and the Mortuary Temple of Thutmoses III. The Temple of Deir El Bahri is one of the most characteristic temples in the whole of Egypt, due to its design and decorations. It was built of limestone. Then you will visit The Colossi of Memnon, carved from single blocks of stone to represent Amenhotep III, whose mortuary temple entrance they once flanked, east of the temple complex of Madinat Habu in Thebes. & then you will visit Luxor Temple the center of the most important one, the festival of Opet (Once a year the divine image of Amun with his consort Mut and their son Khonsu would journey in their sacred baroque’s from Karnak Temples to the temple at Luxor to celebrate the festival which was held during the inundation). The peak is accessible by the steps, or by a gentler path east of the monastery. Both lead to an amphitheater known as the "Seven Elders of Israel". El Mercado, The Market

The Mercado Municipal is really an eye-opener! If You had never been in a real, large, Mexican market before, and it is fascinating. There is so much to see—dry goods, house wares, gorgeous flowers, candy, live roosters, fresh produce…. Many stalls featured health care products, which are a combination of herbal remedies and Santeria-type spells and prayers to saints. One of these stalls had a cage full of large live bugs, whose purpose You will preferred not to ask about.

This market is different than the flea market -- the sales people are not pushy, and the goods are fruit, spices, home baked goods, some crafts, and pottery. After visiting it, You will think You saw the real people of Acapulco. It's not a market for silver and other tourist type items, but great to buy fresh foods an other lovely items.

The Chapel of Peace, Tour Guides Van/Drivers & Tour GuidesThe Chapel of Peace, Tour Guides Van/Drivers & Tour Guides

Perched atop a cliff overlooking the bay of Acapulco, the Capilla de la Paz or (Chapel of the Peace) is a very picturesque site and well worth a visit. The non-denominational chapel is located in the very pricey Las Brisas area of Acapulco. The chapel itself is small but very quaint and charming. It has beautiful marble facades which allow lovely opaque light to shine upon the chapel interior during the day. The cross is massive (at over 130 feet in height) and overlooks Acapulco bay. At night it is lit up atop the mountain. Next to the cross there is also a smaller statue called Las Manos de la Hermandad, of two right hands joining together signifying brotherhood.

My suggestion is to try and visit this site on an early/small tour group. We visited on Tuesday morning around 10:30am with a group of only 7 people. We had the site to ourselves for most of the short tour, which was nice considering the small size of the grounds. As we were leaving we saw a few large tour groups arrive and I had a hard time imaging how they were all able to comfortably tour the small site. I would highly recommend this site to anyone visiting Acapulco who is interested in seeing more of the unique charm of the city itself. The view from the top of the chapel atrium is worth the trip alone. Acapulco bay is breathtaking from this vantage point! Bring your cameras this place is gorgeous and a perfect way to spend a bit of the day.
