We received this wonderful review from our most recent client.

"Hello KC,

Just to say thankyou for a wonderful experience. Your company delivered everything and more than promised and at very competitive rates. Karim was kind, polite and knowledgeable and no request was too much trouble for him. As well as the scheduled itinerary he accompanied us on an evening search of the markets as my partner was keen to purchase material to bring home and make her own garments. He did this in his own time and would not accept payment, he just wanted us to have had a nice holiday and leave with good memories of Egypt and its people.

He had also arranged our tours of the Valley of the Kings, Karnak and Luxor temples with a guide who was first class and an experienced Egyptologist. Bahaa, our guide for these excursions was excellent in his explanations, knowledge and manner.

We enjoyed every moment of our holiday and it was made even more enjoyable and easy by the wonderful service of your company and its efforts on our behalf.

Thankyou.

Best Wishes

Richard & Marinela."

Thank YOU Richard and Marinela!

Hot in the city

It's heating up here in Luxor, and with everyone out and about doing tours, we just wanted to share some tips for staying healthy.

* WEAR A HAT. This is in caps because it is that important. Don't sacrifice your health for fashion. Heat stroke has never been en vogue. :-)

* Comfort is the name of the game. In these temperatures, wearing tight jeans is like wearing oven mitts. Wear fabrics that breathe and allow you to move. Loose cotton is best. Contrary to popular belief, less clothing (shorts, sleeveless tank tops) does not keep you cooler. What it does is increase the chance that you'll be sunburned. Why not go native? Those local, cotton tops are perfect for both staying cool and respecting the culture.

* Stay hydrated. Bottled water is cheap so drink lots of it. Make sure that the seals around the neck of the bottle are unbroken. You can add a pinch of salt or jazz it up with a lemon slice, BUT

* Don't drink ice cold water in the blazing sun or go directly into air conditioned rooms after coming in from it.

* Avoid ice in drinks.

* Don't overeat. This often happens on the cruises. People often stuff themselves with food at the buffets and suffer the consequences later on.

* Bring antibacterial gel. The money is often filthy, especially the small bills. Keeping your hands clean, especially before you eat, will go a long way.

* Take it easy! I know that we often have a lot to see with limited vacation time, but not allowing your body to acclimate to a different climate/food/time zone throws everything out of whack and can make you sick.

So now, since you're all dressed up in your cool cotton, you've donned your hat, and armed yourself with your bottled water, all that's left to do is book one of our tours. :-) We start early to avoid the worst of the sun, or for a twist, you can try an evening tour. Luxor Temple is beautiful at night.

Let us show you the Luxor we know and love. Book a tour with us. We'll take good care of you. :-)

Magical Shamanic Mysteries of Egypt !!!!!!!!!!!!!Magical Shamanic Mysteries of Egypt !!!!!!!!!!!!!

If we only see the Egyptians through modern eyes we miss half of the story - the most interesting half - because the spiritual understanding of these ancient people is as valid today as it was in the age of the pyramids.

So explore Ancient Egypt in a way neglected by conventional archeology. There are unexplained mysteries and secrets on one side, intense beauty and artistic achievement on another. There is a third side, something beyond the words and pictures, something only to be understood. It is this third side that is, after all, the true ascending passage.

All religions have a magical aspect, ancient religions like the Egyptian, according to which all of creation was animated to some extent, perhaps more so than many others. Through magic the creation had come into being and was sustained by it. Thus, magic was more ancient, and consequently more powerful, than the gods themselves as you see from the Following part of the book of the dead .

" I am one with Atum when he still floated alone in Nun, the waters of chaos, before any of his strength had gone into creating the cosmos. I am Atum at his most inexhaustible - the potence and potential of all that is to be. This is my magic protection and it's older and greater than all the gods together "

It was also the extraordinary means for acquiring knowledge about one's surroundings - above all the hidden parts of them - and gaining control over them. Gods, demons and the dead could be implored, cajoled or threatened. Their help could be enlisted to avert evil or achieve one's desires.

Magic was accepted by all ancient peoples as a real force. The Hebrew tradition which was strongly opposed to it, did not deny its efficacy, but rather extolled the even greater magical power of its own god .

You can feel this magic and charm in every single step in the ancient land of Egypt , so I designed especial tours for whom who share this interest in revealing the secrets if this mysterious part of the world and whom who are sacking wisdom and Energy from its stones .
